New Addition for CSA Members!
Farm Outreach Programs
Rather than offering you a an "extra head of lettuce or other "thank you's" for being a member in our CSA Program, we are going to offer farm experiences that you as an individual or family can take part in on Saturdays (to be scheduled).
Here are some of the experiences and classes to be offered.
1. Using drip irrigation in your garden.
2. Milking dairy goats.
3. How to prune/trellis tomato plants.
4. Raising back-yard chickens for eggs.
Days and Times of classes to follow.

Springtime is fast approaching, here is an update on the farm and Spring CSA program.
As some of you know, we have 6 high tunnels that are 48 ft. long each and these are what we'll be using for the Spring CSA program. We have been diligently working the last 3 weeks getting them ready for growing. So, what do we do to get them ready?
Alot,  1. We take out the the previous seasons  crop and feed it to the chickens, goats, and compost piles.
2. Remove the drip tape and chop in the remaining crop residue. 3. Apply compost  and chop in with hoes. 4. Remake beds with rake and install drip tape. 5. Repair any tears in plastic or loose edge and we are ready to plant!
We are just finishing with the 4th tunnel and expect to begin planting the first things in the 2nd week of March.
The Spring CSA Program is beginning to fill up and I expect the shares will be gone by early April, so contact us soon if you are interested.
Our Colorado Springs connection is at 4 members now who have made a financial commitment, we'd sure like to have at least 6 members to make the pickup at the farm manageable.
Animals at the farm - Currently we have our 2 milk goats (Yanna & Snowflake), they are pregnant and due in May. We have several 9 month old goats for sale - 3 boys for weedeating, companionship, or your freezer, they are $70.00 each, 1 girl "Lilly Belle" who is almost ready for breeding, she'd make a sweet milk goat, full blood Nubians give rich milk; she is $90.00
All the chickens, dogs, and cat are all doing well and staying healthy throughout the Winter.
It looks to be a great Spring and hope you are all doing well. You can get in touch if you have any questions at all.
 Best,
Ryan Morris & Family
